All of our SOLES with SOUL collaborations are close to our heart, but this one really is so very dear to our SOUL.
Being an Australian brand, and recently having travelled to the heart of this amazing country, Uluru, we have had the opportunity to feel the spirit and connect with the land that is so sacred to our First Nations, the Australian Indigenous people.
There is therefore no more perfect time than now to introduce our latest Soles with Soul collaboration, with Wulkuraka Designs.
The very talented artist Ailsa Walsh has created two designs for us, DHAGUN, meaning ‘ground’ (featured on our Velcro sneaker style) and YUINGIN, ‘friendship’, featured on our Chelsea Boot style.
We couldn’t be more proud to be an Australian brand, and we have always prided ourselves on being all about connecting with the world around us, both via meaningful YUINGIN - friendships - and also quite literally, by creating shoes that facilitate optimal connection between our feet and the DHAGUN - ground.
As with all of our Soles with Soul collaborations we will be donating 5% of the proceeds from the sale of these styles to a charity of the artist’s choice, and in this instance, Ailsa has selected Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue Inc. & Hospital as wombats are ground land spirits and part of Ailsa’s spirit.
